Argumentation, Part III - Intro Paragraphs

Last Updated on December 5, 2018

Resources

Most students know that they should include an introduction paragraph in an argumentative essay, but most don’t know what information to include. As a result, most students write “cookie-cutter” introduction paragraphs: ones that simply paraphrase argumentation prompt. This session is all about writing differently (and better) than the majority of introduction paragraphs. We practice writing an effective introduction paragraph - one that would stand out in a sea of essays.
