Edoxaban

Definition

Edoxaban is an oral anticoagulant that selectively inhibits Factor Xa, reducing the risk of stroke and systemic embolism in patients with nonvalvular atrial fibrillation. It is also used for the treatment and prevention of deep vein thrombosis (DVT) and pulmonary embolism (PE).
