With one week before the AP Music Theory test, this study session covers the overarching format and logistics of taking the test, since the 2020 format is quite different than other years. The test will have one written part, two questions total. The study session addresses the techniques of four voice part-writing, and how to write a Roman-numeral analysis, including seventh chords and inversion symbols. Finally, we give a few tips about the sight-singing portion of the test.
