In this stream, we explored all the components of the executive branch and bureaucracy. We started by looking at the initial powers granted to the president by Article 2 of the Constitution. We then looked at how those powers have expanded over time and the ways in which the executive and judicial branches check the presidency. The stream finished with a discussion of the various agencies and cabinet positions encompassing the bureaucracy.
