Island Biogeography, also known as insular biogeography, is a theory that helps us better understand the factors that influence the biodiversity on islands through natural selection and competition. Some of these factors include the distance an island is from the mainland, the size of the island, and human interaction with the island. An island biogeography graph helps us better understand these ideas.
