Intro to Sociology
W.E.B. Du Bois was an American sociologist, historian, and civil rights activist who co-founded the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) in 1909. He is well-known for his contributions to sociology and his advocacy for African-American rights, including his influential work "The Souls of Black Folk" which examines the effects of racism and segregation in post-Reconstruction America.
