Definition

Human Rights Law is a body of international legal standards designed to protect individuals' fundamental rights and freedoms from infringement, particularly by states and governmental bodies. It encompasses various treaties, customary international law, and declarations that stipulate obligations governments must follow to ensure the protection of civil, political, economic, social, and cultural rights.
