Definition

In the context of designing organizational structures, Intent to Treat (ITT) is an analysis principle used primarily in research that includes every participant who was originally allocated to each intervention group, regardless of whether they completed the intervention according to the protocol. It is used to preserve the initial random assignment of participants for the duration of the study to ensure that the comparison between groups remains unbiased.
