Iran Nuclear Deal

Definition

The Iran Nuclear Deal, officially known as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), was an agreement reached in 2015 between Iran and six world powers (the US, UK, France, Germany, Russia, and China). Under this deal, Iran agreed to limit its nuclear program and allow international inspections in exchange for relief from economic sanctions.
