Rig Veda Caste System

Definition

The Rig Veda Caste System refers to the social hierarchy described in ancient Hindu scriptures called 'Rig Veda.' It divided society into four main groups or 'varnas': Brahmins (priests), Kshatriyas (warriors), Vaishyas (merchants/farmers), and Shudras (laborers).
