Hong Xiuquan

Definition

Hong Xiuquan was a Hakka Chinese who led the Taiping Rebellion against the Qing Dynasty, establishing his own regime, the "Heavenly Kingdom of Peace". He claimed he was the younger brother of Jesus Christ.
