Right Hemisphere

Definition

The right hemisphere of the brain is one half of the two symmetrical parts of the brain, responsible for controlling the left side of the body and processing tasks related to creativity, spatial ability, artistic and musical skills.

Left Hemisphere: This is the other half of your brain which controls the right side of your body. It's primarily involved in tasks related to logic, language, reasoning and numerical skills.

Corpus Callosum: This bundle of nerve fibers connects both hemispheres allowing them to communicate with each other. It's like a bridge between two cities (hemispheres).

Lateralization: This term refers to how some neural functions or cognitive processes are more dominant in one hemisphere than the other. Like having a favorite hand for writing or throwing a ball.
