Definition

Understanding that others may have different perspectives refers to the cognitive ability to recognize and acknowledge that individuals can hold unique thoughts, beliefs, and opinions separate from one's own. It involves realizing that people may see the world differently based on their experiences, knowledge, and personal biases.
