Michaelis–Menten Kinetics

Definition

Michaelis-Menten kinetics describe how enzyme-catalyzed reactions vary with substrate concentration, showing that reaction velocity increases with increasing substrate until it reaches maximum speed when all enzymes are occupied - this point is called Vmax.
